Two inches per second

Five centimeters per second (5 秒 速 センチメートル, 5 cm per second? Ref 5 centimeters per second), with the subtitle "A chain of short stories about their distance." is an animated film by Makoto Shinkai, already planned to air in spring 2007. The film will consist of three segments: Ōkashō (桜 花 抄), Cosmonaut (コスモナウト) and five inches per second (秒 速 センチメートル 5), roughly one-hour. As in previous work Shinkai, Tenmoncomposed for the soundtrack of the film. Shinkai had expressed that, contrary to his later works, not a fantasy or science fiction elements in this film. Instead, the film attempts, the real world from a different perspective is present. [
