You are 30 pages to write your book!

Years ago I read the article in a major consulting firm Writer's Digest. If you want to be a writer, write a book. The author had no patience with people who have ideas for books - with good reason. Until you write the book, not a writer or author of best-seller. As with many things, not missing something to make it possible. They make it possible.

Maybe you know where I can in 1998. I hated my job, and has violated every aspect of my life. For two years I had a greatIdea, actually two, for books. While driving to school, I heard the same songs over and over again see scenes from the novels before my eyes. Not that it happened on paper. Nothing has been done on paper, why not make it possible.

In 1992 I went to a book fair, the inspiration for writers, where I is Carolyn See, author of a literary Life_ _Making. He told me to write my book in its entirety, and then book fairs and conferences, guest writers to meet the editorsPerson and ask them to write my book. At this point, I knew I had to bring these ideas on paper.

First, I admit it was sitting at the computer is not easy. I had a million reasons not to sit at the computer. We keep all the other things that are too busy to do some things, what most of us. Finally, advice from Carolyn See in mind, I tried to write.

I'm sure I went the wrong way. My first novel (not counting the hand-writtenNovela secret that I was ashamed of the press) was a science fiction / fantasy novel. General advantages of this type of graphic novel storyboard planning board, where you write about the world map and other details, the stranger in our world. Not knowing what I did, I just dove into it.

The first week plodded along, sometimes, I wrote a page or two, maybe four. One day I was counting the pages and the story has flown. Impatient, Istopped writing and ran to the computer. What would my characters say? All the details on how surprised me. Falling in love with your own writing, emotion is like eating in a horror movie just released on the opening night of popcorn. There are tons of ways to get high on life, but there is nothing that thrill of a legal requirement and the completion of a monumental success and enjoy the process.

By the way, and I found out, that's right twice, it took about 30 pages to my storyto take over from me. Then began the characters live their roles and I was no longer the puppeteer of control, I was just a spectator who happened to know the end.

Remember. You are 30 pages away from a novel or a book to be unstoppable. Only 30 pages. At this time, or should I say, "Now write," you're probably sitting at the computer, even a few inches to reach your dreams. What's stopping you? I can not think of a thing!

Go ahead, a Jack of Genre. Write itall!
