If you have a novel with bucket loads of action, futuristic wing Matrix technologies, and the Gritty dystopian futuristic world of Blade Runner, Snow Crash is the perfect recommendation.

The Forever War is just about the Vietnam War in space. And 'brutal and bloody, and is a major strong point that the war is really meaningless. This series is a scary dark ride hell do not want to lose. This is one of the more obscure series of books I've read lately. But the world that Stephen Donaldson drew is superb.Stephen Donaldson is a writer who cares about characterization, and he excels in the production of anti-hero. If you are looking for a dark space opera, I recommend the series of Gap.
# 9: Otherland (Tad William)
If you need to find something like the Matrix in writing not be happier. Otherland is the closest you get. Psycho Babble less trick and more realism makes a very compelling read Otherland. Otherland starts slowly, butwilling to give him a chance will be rewarded greatly.
# 10: Altered Carbon (Richard Morgan)
It is a dystopian cyberpunk style and punishing some serious action. I guarantee that once you start reading this novel, you will not put it down. Morgan is a man with visionary ideas, always has interesting characters, plot twisting action, and palpitations. Those, Blade Runner, Neuromancer and Snow Crash are love for treatment.
